MIAMI HEAT
legacy
UNIFORM

In 2014, I designed a Miami HEAT uniform called Legacy. The uniform celebrated the HEAT’s past color-themed playoff campaigns in red, black, and white. It represented the fanbase, called to mind Miami’s past, and looked toward the franchise’s future.

I incorporated heritage elements such as one-sided piping similar to the original HEAT jerseys with more modern touches.

The uniform and associated campaign debuted during the 2015-16 NBA season. The team wore it in nine games (Dec 3, 2015 – Jan 3, 2016), then again in four games during the 2016-17 season (Jan 17-23, 2017).
